My second favourite French product is the Sensibio H2O micellar water from Bioderma. I discovered it years ago after reading in Glamour magazine that it was used by professional makeup artists, and more importantly that it was gentle enough to remove model’s makeup several times in a row without causing any irritations. I have an eczema-prone eye area and this is really the best in my opinion.
To use it, I pour a generous amount on two cotton pads (one for each eye) which I then put on my eyes. I wait about 30 seconds for my mascara to dissolve and then I gently wipe my eye area. No harsh rubbing needed. I then remove the rest of my make up.
In the evenings, I will then proceed to wash my face with my cleanser. Sometimes I use the Sensibio H2O in the morning. Even though it says that you do not have to rince it, I usually follow it by spray of Avene thermal water, my favourite French product #1.
There is no doubt about it, I rate this product 10/10 and would encourage you to try it if you have sensitive skin. I usually buy this product in France but for some reasons I did not purchase it last time I went to Paris
I was too busy stuffing my face with wine and cheese. Therefore I had a little browse of the internet and found that it can be purchased from Escentual. Not as cheap as in France but cheaper than a Eurostar ticket if you know wanna mean.
The good news is that Escentual is offering 1/3 off French Pharmacy products until the end of the month so I will make sure to stock up on Avene and Nuxe products!
Have you used the Sensibio H2O before? I really like it, it’s perfect for my sensitive skin
If so, where do you buy in from? France when I can
