As mentioned in my latest mission strong runner training recap, I came up with an easy full body HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout on Christmas day. The principle is easy, you alternate periods of doing some fitness exercises at a very high intensity with a period of rest. This can lead you to perform a very intense workout in a minimum of time. On top of it, research has shown that it can increase your metabolism for up to 24h after your workout.
A skipping rope and a timer. I recommend the Gymboss Interval Timer and Stopwatch or Gymboss app to time your intervals. If you do not have a skipping rope, do jumping jacks instead.
